JIAYI TONG

Jiayi (Jessie) Tong is a first year Ph.D. student in Biostatistics program at the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania. Jessie graduated from University of California San Diego in 2017 with a high distinction honors bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics. She is interested in developing and applying statistical tools to help investigators solve biomedical problems. Her research interests include risk prediction, bias reduction, meta-analysis, machine learning, and biomedical informatics.
